VTM President Awarded "Forty Under 40" Award by the Portland

Rich Baek, president and founder of VTM, Inc.,
a communications, marketing and consulting company, was awarded the "Forty
under 40" award by the Portland Business Journal. The award recognizes
forty leaders under the age of 40 in the Portland business community based on
their professional accomplishments, community involvement and professional recognition.
Baek, who founded the company in 1995, has grown VTM from a $20,000 company
in its first year to a company with revenues of $3 million in 2003. VTM was
founded to provide technical marketing and event management services to high-tech
industry initiatives and groups. Since then, Baek has also added public relations
and international business consulting to the company's service offerings.
Baek also serves as the Executive Director for several computing technology
initiatives and associations, most notably PCI-SIG, the USB Implementer's Forum,
the InfiniBand Trade Association and the Digital Home Working Group.
